A community poetry workshop led by Carla Sameth, Altadena’s 2022–2024 Co–Poet Laureate and an Academy of American Poets Fellow. Participants are invited to explore creative expression and reflection through generative writing exercises in a supportive environment. The workshop is part of the San Gabriel Valley Phoenix Poets initiative, which uses poetry as a tool for healing, resilience, and community rebuilding following the Eaton Fire. The San Gabriel Valley Phoenix Poets project was founded by Raffi Joe Wartanian, Glendale’s inaugural Poet Laureate.
