Ellen Bass is the author of nine poetry collections, the most recent of which is Indigo (Copper Canyon Press, 2020). She also worked with Florence Howe to edit the feminist poetry anthology No More Masks! An Anthology of Poems by Women (Doubleday, 1973). She teaches in the low-residency MFA program at Pacific University and lives in Santa Cruz, California.
Marilyn Chin is the author of five collections of poetry, including most recently A Portrait of the Self As Nation: New and Selected Poems (W. W. Norton, 2018) and Hard Love Province (W.W. Norton, 2014), which won the 2015 Anisfield-Wolf Book Award. She is currently professor emerita at San Diego State University.
Forrest Gander is the author of several collections of poetry, including Twice Alive (New Directions, 2021), longlisted for the National Book Award for Poetry; and Be With (New Directions, 2018), winner of the 2019 Pulitzer Prize in Poetry. Gander is professor of English and comparative literature at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
Terrance Hayes is the author of eight collections of poetry, including American Sonnets for My Past and Future Assassin (Penguin Poets, 2018), which received the 2019 Hurston/Wright Foundation Legacy Award for poetry and the 2020 Bobbitt Prize. He is currently Professor of English at New York University
