Richie Hofmann is the author of A Hundred Lovers (Alfred A. Knopf, 2022) and Second Empire (Alice James Books, 2015). The recipient of fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation, he teaches at the University of Chicago.
