Linh Dinh

Linh Dinh was born in Saigon, Vietnam, in 1963 and immigrated to the United States in 1975. He attended the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and started his career as a painter before turning to poetry.

Dinh is the author of five books of poetry: Some Kind of Cheese Orgy (Chax Press, 2009), Jam Alerts (Chax Press, 2007), Borderless Bodies (Factory School, 2006), American Tatts (Chax Press, 2005), and All Around What Empties Out (Tinfish, 2003). He has also authored two short story collections and a novel, Love Like Hate (Seven Stories Press, 2010).

Dinh is the cofounder of the art and literary journal The Drunken Boat and the recipient of a Pew Fellowship of the Arts. He lives in Philadelphia.
