New York, NY (March 3, 2023)—In alliance with the Amazon Literary Partnership, the Academy of American Poets invites poetry organizations and presses to submit applications for grants from the Poetry Fund, which will be awarded in 2023. The Amazon Literary Partnership launched the Poetry Fund with the Academy of American Poets in 2018 to further its role as a supporter of poetry organizations nationwide. The Academy of American Poets grant-making panel this year includes Aileen Cassinetto, Celeste Guzmán Mendoza, and M. Bartley Seigel.
Grant applications are being accepted now through April 14. Final award decisions will be made by the Amazon Literary Partnership in tandem with the Academy and announced in June 2023.
