“Since its inception in 2009, the mission of the Amazon Literary Partnership has been to support organizations that are vital to sustaining the literary culture of communities and to connect writers with their readers,” said Al Woodworth, manager of the Amazon Literary Partnership. “We are thrilled to be working again with the Academy of American Poets to reach these poetry organizations committed to supporting today’s most exciting poets. We thank the Academy of American Poets and the 2022 Poetry Fund grant recipients for making such a meaningful impact on the lives of poets and readers.”

Grant recipients include literary centers, writing workshops, residencies, fellowships, literary magazines, independent publishers, and poetry and translation programs. Writers supported by some of these organizations have gone on to become best-selling and award-winning authors and poets.
