Rolando Kattan is the author of numerous poetry collections, most recently Omisión del ángel [Omission of the Angel] (Visor Libros, 2025); Errar en la montaña [To Wander in the Mountains] (El Ángel Editor, 2024); Donde volver deseo [Where I Wish to Return] (Cisne Negro, 2023); Los cisnes negros [The Black Swans] (Visor Libros, 2021); and Gabinete de curiosidades [Cabinet of Curiosities] (La Garúa, 2020).  

Kattan is a recipient of the Casa de América Prize for American Poetry and the Ramón Rosa National Literature Award, among other honors. 

Kattan lives in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
