Roberto Tejada

Roberto Tejada is a translator, editor, essayist, art historian, and cultural critic. He is the author of Why the Assembly Disbanded (Fordham, 2022) and Still Nowhere in an Empty Vastness (Noemi Press, 2019). 

A 2021 John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation Fellow in Poetry, Tejada is the Hugh Roy and Lillie Cranz Cullen Distinguished Professor at the University of Houston, where he teaches in the departments of English, creative writing, and art history.
