Robert Hillyer

Robert Hillyer was born in East Orange, New Jersey, on June 3, 1895. He is the author of several books of poetry, including Collected Verse (Knopf, 1933), which won the 1934 Pulitzer Prize, and Sonnets and Other Lyrics (Harvard University Press, 1917). He died on December 24, 1961, in Wilmington, Delaware.
