Richie Hofmann is the author of The Bronze Arms (Alfred A. Knopf, 2026); A Hundred Lovers (Alfred A. Knopf, 2022); and Second Empire (Alice James Books, 2015). 

The recipient of fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation, Hofmann teaches at the University of Chicago.
