Michael Carlson

Michael Carlson is a poet and educator. He is the author of Tips to Help You Do Your Best (Tupelo Press, 2025) and Cement Guitar (University of Massachusetts Press, 2003), which won the Juniper Prize for Poetry. His poems have appeared or are forthcoming in numerous journals, including Antioch Review, The Gettysburg Review, Gulf Coast, and Seneca Review. 

Carlson is a teacher at P.S. 107 in Brooklyn, New York, where he lives.
