Martha Gilbert Bianchi

Martha Gilbert Dickinson Bianchi was a poet, novelist, translator, and editor, best known for editing the works of her late aunt and fellow poet Emily Dickinson. She published many books, including Russian Lyrics and Cossack Songs (Duffield and Company, 1910); the novel The Sin of Angels (Duffield and Company, 1912); and The Single Hound: Poems of Emily Dickinson (Little, Brown, and Company, 1914); the first of many posthumous publications she made of her aunt’s work. She died on December 21, 1943.
