Arvind Krishna Mehrotra is the author of seven books of poetry, including Book of Rahim (Shearsman Books, 2022). and two collections of essays. Krishna Mehrota is also the translator, with Sara Rai, of Vinod Kumar Shukla’s stories Blue Is Like Blue (HarperCollins India, 2019); Songs of Kabir (NYRB Classics, 2011); and The Absent Traveller: Prakrit Love Poetry (Penguin Classics, 2008). Mehrotra lives in Dehradun, in the foothills of the Himalayas.
