The University of Montana sponsors three reading series, including the Creative Writing Series, which presents readings by highly acclaimed visiting writers, professors and lecturers; the Second Wind series, a Sunday night tradition that presents work by second-year students in the MFA program, alongside work by local and established writers and performers; and the MFA thesis readings, featuring graduating students from the MFA program, held at various venues on campus and throughout town.
