Sunken Garden Poetry Festival, which celebrated its twenty-fifth anniversary in 2017, features a summer-long poetry festival, a young poets' competition, poetry writing workshops, and other programming for poets, readers, and teachers. The festival is held at the Hill-Stead Museum's historic Sunken Garden and draws well-known poets as well as emerging and student writers.

The Sunken Garden Poetry Festival has scheduled programming and events throughout the summer of 2018.
