Founded in 1972 by Gordon Weaver, Mississippi Review is published in Hattiesburg at the University of Southern Mississippi's Center for Writers. The magazine publishes two print issues a year, a prize issue and an edited volume of selected writings. The magazine also sponsors an annual award in poetry. It is available in both print and online.
