About the Event
The doors will open at 2 pm to gather, have conversations, and coffee. Don't hesitate to invite family and friends to this event. The more audience, the better!
At 3:00, come to hear readings by artist and author, Lylanne Musselman( https://lylannemusselman.wordpress.com/) and others, who we will update this list of wonderful authors as we near. Many will have their books to sell.
Plan to enjoy the readings or join in whether you are an emerging talent or seasoned author, all will be there to find inspiration and celebrate the power of words! It's an experience that brings literature to life and creates a strong connection between you and the written word.
Listeners gain deeper insight into the themes and emotions of the text, experience the rhythm and tone as the author intended, and often have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussion.
Enjoy Scattered Bean Coffee Co. and light appetizers on us.
Part 1 takes place at 1:00 pm, in Lizabeth Ann's Kitchen in the historic Boyhood Home of James Whitcomb Riley, located at 250 W. Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana. Both events are free and open to the public, and all are encouraged to attend and celebrate the power of words, creativity, and community during National Poetry Month. For more information click here.
