We are thrilled to feature Joy Harjo, the U.S. Poet Laureate, as one of our keynote presenters. She is joined as keynote by three brilliant young poet/artist/activists: Lyla June, Caits Meissner, and Javier Zamora.
This year's Power of Words Conference will feature keynote presentations, more than 30 workshops, panel discussions, performances, celebration, and more. Click to see the full schedule summary. The conference will bring together writers, storytellers, performers, musicians, community leaders, activists, educators, health professionals, and more.
Friday's Pre-Conference is open to all Conference attendees for an additional fee. The Pre-Conference will feature workshops and a panel discussion with the four keynotes. Thursday's Community Performance is free and open to the public.
All events will be held online via Zoom - with the goal of offering an event that is safe, affordable, and accessible to our entire community. Links to each event will be sent out in the week prior to the gathering.

Presenting a showcase of recent work created by Kelly DuMar's most recent TLA Network class. Your Memoir as Monologue with Showcase: Writing Monologues for Healing and Transformation will be on Zoom, and is free and open to the public.
Pre-Conference
Friday, October 29, 10 - 5:30 PM EST
The Pre-Conference features three 90-minute workshops with Lyla June, Caits Meissner, and Javier Zamora, as well as an intergenerational panel dialogue between Joy Harjo and the three younger poets. Don't miss the chance to spend the day in an intimate setting, learning from and with these four incredible transformative language artists.
The Pre-Conference is available for an additional fee and is open to all who are registered for the full weekend conference.
