Spoken Word: Weapons of Mass Construction with Honey Bell Bey

Black Student Association and Black Programs proudly welcome Honey Bell Bey, the 2020 Poet Laureate of Cuyahoga County, for a discussion about Poetry: A Weapon of Mass Construction: the historical and transformative use of the spoken and written word as a tool to fuel conversations and healing in topics of racial inequities and social injustice. 

Honey Bell Bey is a motivational poet, published author, community advocate and experienced trainer in the field of Substance Abuse; Youth Work; Culture and the Integration of Science and Innovative Practice. She is the founder, director and writer for The Distinguished Gentlemen of Spoken Word (A character based international performance troupe for adolescent males age 12-21).
