South Windsor Poetry Day

Poet Norah Pollard will read from her poetry collections. She writes of her life in non-rhyming verse. Raised in Rhode Island, Norah is the daughter of Red Pollard, the jockey who rode Seabiscuit and who now lives on in her poetry. She received the Academy of Amercian Poets prize from the University of Bridgeport. Please join us for an afternoon of poetry, music and refreshments. Everyone is welcome; there is no fee and no registration is necessary. While you're at the library, make sure to pick up a Poem for Your Pocket!
