During the four workshop/writing days, we will focus on Writing the Moment, and we will use forays outdoors to promote Building Hope and Connection Through Our Landscape. We will let our stream of consciousness take our poems as far as they can go, making connections and more connections to the moment we are in. We will spend most of our time writing, then sharing. Participants will be encouraged to actively revise their poems throughout the month, and have time to talk about the changes they made. The workshops will culminate with the Poetry Salon on May first.

Rob Hunter’s first book of poetry, September Swim, was published in 2005 by Spoon River Poetry Press. His second book, Wild in the Dawn, was published in 2023 by Finishing Line Press.
