A Poetry Reading by Jasper Bernes & Jennifer Nelson

Chicago Review and The Dial Bookshop will be hosting a free poetry reading by Jasper Bernes and Jennifer Nelson this coming Monday.

Bernes, an author and editor of Commune Editions, has written two books of poetry: Starsdown (2007) and We Are Nothing and So Can You (2015). Nelson is a professor of art history, theory, and criticism at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago whose latest book of poetry, Civilization Makes Me Lonely, is the winner of the 2016 Ahsahta Sawtooth Poetry Prize.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to hear the poets' work—or read the latest issue of Chicago Review. Issue 60:4/61:1, along with other recent CR titles, will be sold at a discounted rate during the event.
