Poetry Broadsides Workshop with Logen Cure

Join us for a workshop about poetry broadsides taught by inaugural Duncanville Poet Laureate Logen Cure! This workshop is ideal for ages 6 to 18 but is open to all ages.

A broadside is like a poetry poster, featuring words and visual art. Participants will have the option to write their own poem or to create a broadside celebrating a poem written by another writer. Generative writing exercises will be included for those who would like to write their own poem. All materials will be provided. The final products will be beautiful pieces of poetry and art ready for display!
