Brian Laidlaw is a poet-troubadour based in the Twin Cities. He has released the poetry collections Amoratorium and The Stuntman, each of which includes a companion album of original music; another full-length poetry collection called The Mirrormaker is forthcoming from Milkweed. Laidlaw continues to tour nationally and internationally as a folksinger, and is in the Creative Writing Ph.D. program at the University of Denver.
