Join Sac Poetry for its final gathering of 2026! A free, relaxed afternoon of poetry, conversation, food, and community at Robbie Waters Pocket–Greenhaven Library.
For this gathering, we’re looking at the words and people we carry with us. Bring a printed poem by you or someone else for our poem exchange. Leave your poem for another person and choose a different poem to take home.
You’re also invited to bring something connected to someone you remember—a photograph, letter, note, piece of handwriting, or small keepsake—or a favorite poem, passage, quotation, or piece of writing that has stayed with you.
Come on your own or bring a friend and spend the afternoon around the table with poetry, food and conversation.
Free to attend. All are welcome.
