Join the Del Mar College Communications, Languages and Reading Department’s Languages Program, the Center for Mexican American Studies and the DMC Libraries for a morning of sessions celebrating Spanish and English poetry and Mother Earth during “Nature’s Voices: Poetry and Planet” on Tuesday, April 21. Explore the beauty of the Spanish language, poetry and the natural environment during readings, panel presentations and an interactive poetry translation workshop. Activities include student-led discussions connecting Earth Day, language and community action to make our planet a better place to live.
