Join The Diatribe on November 23 for "The Grand Showcase", held at Fountain Street Church. This poetry event features nationally-known poets Rudy Francisco (Cali), Ebony Stewart (HTX), Bee "Black Rose" Kapri (Chi), area youth poets, and some of Michigans’ most talented spoken word poets (Mia Monet, Great Dane, Jocelyn Barnes, Joseph Harris, Amanda Small, Kyd Kane). DJ SuperDre will be the featured DJ and all proceeds will benefit non profit The Diatribe.
The Diatribe uses performing arts to empower young people to share their stories, raise awareness of social issues, and be active members in their community.
