Businesses along Kiesel Ave. from 22nd to 24th Street will host poems, writing prompts, activities, promotions and workshops from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 11th. Businesses who are participating in Downtown Poetry will have an indicator on their door or window that they are a stop.
This daylong event focuses on making poetry and literature accessible and inclusive, offering opportunities to writers, and fostering relationships between local business owners and their communities. Downtown Poetry at the Junction is made possible by partnerships, support and collaborations with Ogden City Poet Laureate, Angelika Brewer; Local Artisan Collective, Utah Humanities, Ogden Downtown Alliance, Ogden City Arts, and the businesses and organizations of The Junction.
