Hosted by URBAN WORD NYC, the NYC Youth Poet Laureate Program aims to identify young writers and leaders committed to creating change through civic engagement and literary excellence.
10 finalists, selected based on their artistic merit and community service experience, will take the stage to showcase their most daring and dynamic poems before one emerges as this year's NYC Youth Poet Laureate.
