In 2023, Oliver de la Paz was named an Academy of American Poets Laureate Fellow. De la Paz will collaborate with the Worcester County Poetry Association in supporting and promoting the Rain Poetry project, a series of public art installations that will be revealed at an annual public ceremony. He will also assist with the production of video and photographic archives of the project culminating in a display of the works that will be available via web and social media and as a print anthology.
