Khaled al-Hilli
Khaled al-Hilli is a translator and a researcher of contemporary Arabic literature and language. He co-translated, with Emna Zghal, Gaza: The Poem Said Its Piece (City Lights Books, 2025) by Palestinian poet Nasser Rabah and edited and translated The Great River—Translating the Beats into Arabic (Lost & Found, 2024), which details the literary encounters of Sargon Boulus through Iraq, Lebanon, and the United States.
Al-Hilli is a clinical assistant professor at New York University, where he teaches Arabic.
