In 2024, Georgia A. Popoff was named an Academy of American Poets Laureate Fellow. Popoff will launch Voices in Verse, an intergenerational workshop in partnership with Syracuse University’s drama department and Syracuse Stage, the noted repertory theater celebrating its fiftieth year. Participants will work with each other and literary teaching artists to generate poems that will be turned into a script for a public dramatic performance that is free and open to the public.
