In 2019, we welcomed Alexandra Jackson, James Johnson, and Eric Rayman to the Academy of American Poets' Board of Directors. They will advise the organization as it looks to make its eighty-five-year-old archive available to the public, expand its award-winning K–12 Education Program, and strengthen its position as the nation’s leading champion of poets and poetry.
