Kerri Webster
Kerri Webster received her BA from Boise State University and her MFA from Indiana University. She is the author of four poetry collections: Lapis (Wesleyan University Press, 2022); The Trailhead (Wesleyan University Press, 2018); Grand & Arsenal (University of Iowa Press, 2012); and We Do Not Eat Our Hearts Alone (University of Georgia Press, 2005).
Webster is the recipient of a Whiting Award, the Iowa Prize, and the Lucille Medwick Award from the Poetry Society of America. She has taught at Boise State University and Washington University in St. Louis. In 2023, she was appointed Idaho’s Writer in Residence. In 2024, she received an Academy of American Poets Laureate Fellowship.
