Yolanda Castaño

Yolanda Castaño is a Galician painter, literary critic, and writer. She is the author of several books, including the poetry collections Materia [Matter] (Xerais, 2022), which won Spain’s 2023 National Poetry Award, and A Segunda Lingua [The Second Language] (PEN Club Galicia, 2014).  Her poems have been translated into nearly three dozen languages. Castaño lives in A Coruña, Spain.
