Tommy Pico
Tommy Pico is from the Viejas Indian reservation of the Kumeyaay nation. He is the author of the poetry collections Feed (Tin House Books, 2019), Junk (Tin House Books, 2018), Nature Poem (Tin House Books, 2017), and IRL (Birds LLC, 2016).A Queer/Art/Mentors inaugural Fellow, Pico has received fellowships and awards from Lambda Literary, the New York Foundation for the Arts, the Whiting Foundation, and the Brooklyn Public Library. He co-curates the reading series Poets With Attitude with Morgan Parker, co-hosts the podcast Food 4 Thot, and is a contributing editor at Literary Hub. He splits his time between Los Angeles and Brooklyn.
