Tommy Pico is from the Viejas Indian reservation of the Kumeyaay nation. He is the author of the poetry collections Feed (Tin House Books, 2019); Junk (Tin House Books, 2018); Nature Poem (Tin House Books, 2017); and IRL (Birds LLC, 2016).

A Queer/Art/Mentors Inaugural Fellow, Pico has received fellowships and awards from Lambda Literary, the New York Foundation for the Arts, the Whiting Foundation, and the Brooklyn Public Library. He co-curates the reading series Poets With Attitude with Morgan Parker, cohosts the podcast Food 4 Thot, and is a contributing editor at Literary Hub. Pico splits his time between Los Angeles and Brooklyn.
