Susan Margaret Brown

Susan Margaret Brown is a professor, critic, literary translator, and pastel artist. She earned her PhD in comparative literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Her translations have appeared in The New Yorker, The Paris Review, The Brooklyn Rail, and other journals. With Edwin Honig, Brown co-translated two books of Fernando Pessoa’s poetry. She lives in Burrillville, Rhode Island.
