Sarah Ghazal Ali

Sarah Ghazal Ali is the author of Theophanies (Alice James Books, 2024), a winner of the 2025 California Book Award’s Gold Medal in Poetry.

She is also the recipient of a Kundiman Fellowship and a Bucknell Stadler Fellowship. Ali lives in Saint Paul, Minnesota, where she is an assistant professor of English.
