Sahar Muradi is an Afghan American poet and writer. Her poetry collections include OCTOBERS (University of Pittsburgh Press, 2023), which was selected by Naomi Shihab Nye for the 2022 Donald Hall Prize for Poetry,  and her chapbook [ G A T E S ] (Black Lawrence Press, 2017). A recipient of the 2023 Sustainable Arts Foundation Award in Poetry and the Stacy Doris Memorial Poetry Award from Fourteen Hills, Muradi is an arts education administrator and lives in New York City.
