Roberta Hill Whiteman
Roberta J. Hill is a poet, fiction writer, essayist, and scholar. A member of the Oneida Nation, her poetry collections include Cicadas: New and Selected Poetry (Holy cow! Press, 2013), Philadelphia Flowers (Holy cow! Press, 1996), Star Quilt (Holy Cow! Press, 1999), and among others. She is a professor of English and American Indian Studies at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and is an affiliated faculty member of the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies.
