Raza Ali Hasan

Raza Ali Hasan was born in Bangladesh and raised in Islamabad, Pakistan, before moving to the United States in 1991. In 1998, he received a BA in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin, where he went on to receive an MA in English in 2004. In 2007, he earned an MFA in poetry from Syracuse University. Hasan is the author of Sorrows of the Warrior Class (Sheep Meadow Press, 2015), 67 mogul miniatures (Autumn House Press, 2008) and Grieving Shias (Sheep Meadow Prize, 2006). He currently teaches at the University of Colorado–Boulder.
