Parneshia Jones

Parneshia Jones is the author of Vessel (Milkweed Editions, 2015). She is the recipient of the 2024 Adam Morgan Literary Leadership Award from the Chicago Review of Books. 

Jones is the director of Northwestern University Press. Previously, she served as president and board member of the Cave Canem Foundation and advisory board member of Shorefront Legacy Center, a nonprofit that documents African American history on the North Shore of Chicago. Jones lives in Evanston, Illinois.
