Novica Tadić, born in Montenegro in 1949, was a Serbian poet and the author of over a dozen poetry collections, including Dark Things (BOA Editions, 2009) and Night Mail: Selected Poems (Oberlin College Press, 1992). He was the recipient of several major Serbian literary awards, including the Laureat Nagrade. He died in 2011.
