Muna Faiz Abdelwahab

Muna Faiz Abdelwahab is a Sudani/American Poet based in the lower west side of New York, New York. Abdelwahab's poetry encompasses identity, personal struggle, love, home, family, religion and what it means to be growing up in America today as a young person of color. She is currently working on her debut collection, I'll Text You Later, which is scheduled to be released in April of 2020. Abdelwahab continues to perform in New York, Sudan, and Saudi Arabia, as she aims to change the poetic landscape with, one reading at a time.
