Mbate Pedro

Mbate Pedro was born in Maputo, Mozambique, in 1978. He is the author of four books of poetry, including Debaixo do Silêncio que Arde (Beneath the Burning Silence) (Indico, 2015), winner of the 2015 BCI Prize for Literature. He lives in Maputo.
