Marcel Schwob

Mayer André Marcel Schwob, born on August 23, 1867 in Chaville, Hauts-de-Seine, France, was a short story writer, essayist, and playwright from the French Symbolist movement. He was the author of many books, including Cœur double (Ollendorff, 1891), Le livre de Monelle (L. Chailley, 1894), and Vies imaginaires (Bibliothèque-Charpentier, 1896). He died on February 26, 1905.
