Leslie McGrath
Leslie McGrath was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on June 15, 1957. She authored the poetry collections Feminists Are Passing from Our Lives (The Word Works, 2018), Out From the Pleiades: a picaresque novella in verse (Jaded Ibis Press, 2014), and Opulent Hunger, Opulent Rage (Main St. Rag, 2009). She received the Pablo Neruda Prize for Poetry in 2004. She taught at Central Connecticut State University from 2009 - 2019, and lived in Essex, Connecticut. She died on August 7, 2020.
