Leonard Schwartz

Leonard Schwartz received his BA in creative writing and literature from Bard College and his MA in philosophy from Columbia University. Schwartz is the author of Salamander: A Bestiary (Chax Press, 2017),The New Babel: Toward a Poetics of the Mid-East Crises (University of Arkansas Press, 2016), If (Talisman House, 2012), At Element (Talisman House, 2011), A Message Back and Other Furors (Chax Press, 2008), The Library of Seven Readings (Ugly Duckling Presse, 2008), and Language as Responsibility (Tinfish Editions, 2006). He is a professor of literary arts at the Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington.
