Lena Khalaf Tuffaha

Lena Khalaf Tuffaha is a poet, essayist, and translator. She is the author of three poetry collections: Something About Living (University of Akron Press, 2024), winner of the 2024 National Book Award and of the Akron Prize for Poetry; Kaan and Her Sisters (Trio House Press, 2023), a finalist for the 2024 Firecracker Award; and Water & Salt (Red Hen Press, 2017).

In 2023, Khalaf Tuffaha was awarded the John Fredrick Nims Memorial Prize for Translation from the Poetry Foundation. She lives in Redmond, Washington.
