Lance Henson is a poet, teacher, and cultural activist. A member of the Cheyenne Nation of Oklahoma, Henson has authored numerous poetry collections, including The missing bead: Poems for the Cheyenne (JustFiction! Edition, 2019) and Strong Heart Song: Lines from a Revolutionary Text (West End Press, 1997). He lives in Bologna, Italy.
